Milking a yak

A photo taken by a friend on his trip to tibet.....it shows a Yak's calf suckling on its mother...and as soon as the mother starts milking its owner pulls out the calf to collect its milk...it is a traditionally method of milking a Yak still widely practiced in the region.

Spices of China

Garlic, spice, sea weeds...etc are eaten raw....they are served for free in all the Chinese run korean restaurants found here( pre appetizers i guess).....

The local price is always termed in terms of jin(chin)..that is equivalent to 500gms.......
